Our 24-hour monitoring service covers the full range of security and life safety signals generated by your installed systems, including:
Intrusion alarms triggered by motion detectors, door and window sensors, or glass break sensors. Fire alarm signals from smoke detectors and fire alarm panels. Carbon monoxide alerts. Panic or duress signals. Camera-linked video verification where applicable.

With self-monitoring, alerts go only to your phone. You are responsible for deciding whether to call emergency services. With professional monitoring, a trained team receives the alert, verifies it, and dispatches help without requiring any action from you.
EDGE partners with Alarm.com and COPS Monitoring to provide professional monitoring. These are established, redundant monitoring centers that operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The monitoring team will attempt to reach you first. If you verify the alarm was accidental and provide the correct password, no emergency services will be dispatched. This is a standard part of the verification process.
It is not required, but it is strongly recommended. A system connected to professional monitoring provides a significantly higher level of protection than one that only sends phone notifications.
In many cases, yes. Contact EDGE to have your current system evaluated for monitoring compatibility.
